// ORiON COMPANION · CHROME EXTENSION · BETA
An AI agent in your browser, working in the tools you already use.
The ORiON Companion is a Chrome extension that opens ORiON in the side panel, next to whatever you're working on: your CRM, LinkedIn, Gmail, NetSuite, a supplier portal. Ask about the page in front of you, or tell it to do the work there. It reads the page, clicks, types and moves through lists the way a person would, and it stops to ask before anything is sent or saved.
Ask about the page, or hand it the task.
Ask about the page you are on
Summarize this account. Which of these people are already in HubSpot? What does ORiON know about this company? The Companion reads what is on screen and answers with your connected systems behind it, so a question about a LinkedIn profile can come back with the deal history from your CRM.
Have it do the task there
Add this person to HubSpot. Copy this table into a new Google Sheet. Fill in this form from the newest deal. It works out the steps, shows you the plan, then does the work in the page itself, in your own browser session, so it can only see and do what you already can.
Suggestions that fit what is in front of you.
Open the Companion and it suggests tasks for the page you are looking at. On sites you have allowed it on, it also reads the page and proposes a few of its own, two to ask and two to do.
It asks before anything it cannot take back.
Anything that sends, submits, saves, deletes, pays, books or publishes is treated as irreversible. The Companion stops at that step and shows you exactly what it is about to do. You approve it, change it or stop it. Typing into a search box doesn't need your sign-off; sending a message does.
It only works on sites you choose to allow it on, it runs as you rather than as a shared service account, and every task it runs is recorded in ORiON alongside the rest of your workspace. The same approval rule applies to every agent in ORiON: see security and architecture.
Integrations cover the systems with good APIs. A lot of the work happens in the ones without.
ORiON already connects directly to systems like NetSuite, HubSpot, Stripe and Google Workspace through their APIs, and that is still the best route for anything that runs on a schedule. But operations work also happens in a supplier portal, a bank's web interface, an industry tool with no API, or LinkedIn. The Companion reaches those the same way your team does, through the browser, and hands what it finds to the rest of ORiON.
That is also why it is useful on day one: there is nothing to configure for a site before it can help there. Open the side panel, allow the site, and ask.
